Clearogen vs. Obagi
Name: Brian
Question:
About two years ago, I started developing Rosacea (according to my dermatologist) on an isolated spot on the skin above my left nasal cavity. I also get a random pimple or two about every three weeks. I have tried the Obagi system (irritated my skin really bad), and the Vivant system (made the Rosacea spot worse. After my last visit to my dermatologist, he put me on Finacea gel and Oracea orals. While the breakouts have subsided everywhere else, I still have small whiteheads where the Rosacea is, they turn into pimples, and the Rosacea area gets worse and really red.
My first question is what is different about the Clearogen system verses the Obagi and Vivant?
My second question is can it keep the little whiteheads that seem to be the root of the problem from coming back creating the heartache?
Thank you so much for your time!
Brian
Dear Brian,
Although you have Acne Rosacea, you also have Acne Vulgaris (or hormonal or typical acne). Clearogen will work for your acne lesions, but may also help your Rosacea. Clearogen is different from Obagi since it targets the hormonal cause of acne. No other product works to address the root cause. You may also use Oracea along with Clearogen to get maximum benefit. Please keep us updated on your progress.
