Question:
What do you think of low-level laser light therapy for acne?
I am currently using a laser device for hair regrowth, and recently I have seen laser devices advertised for treating acne.
Unlike the lasers used for hair regrowth which use lasers in the red spectrum, the lasers used for acne feature lasers in the blue spectrum.
I know that there are several studies which suggest lllt is beneficial for hair regrowth. Do you think these laser devices for acne are helpful as well and worth trying?
The low level lasers for acne are slightly effective and can cause skin aging and damage due to UV radiation.
High intensity lasers that dermatologist utilize in their clinics are safer and significantly more effective for acne. I only recommend that you see a dermatologist if you want to treat your acne with lasers.
