New cysts on Clearogen
Name: 36yo mom
Question:
Hi,
I’ve had acne on my face and chest, back for over 15 years. It got much worse in my early 30s when I had my two kids. Acne was better during pregnancy but it has been worse since my last was born 3 years ago.
No antibiotics have worked, my skin is too sensitive to handle Retin-A with the exception of over the counter concentrations. BP and Salicylic acid seem to do nothing except promote tightness then rebound oiliness. I don’t have any redness to my skin and can use other products with no problems so I don’t think I have sensitive skin per se.
I do have multiple cysts at most times, chin, cheeks, forehead, hairline–probably 5 total. I’ve been using the Tanda Skin care system for about 3.5 weeks and have seen a good lessening in lesions and a huge improvement in overall clarity. However, I’m still very broken out and 5 new cysts in the past few days (this after starting Clearogen 12 days ago). I feel I’m getting worse not better with the Clearogen–what is your take?
Hello,
We are familiar with the Tanda system which uses a blue LED light to kill bacteria so if you feel that you’re showing improvement you may continue with it; it will not negatively effect your regimen with Clearogen.
Because pimples take 2-3 weeks to form before they surface your skin may take another week or two to clear. The cysts your speaking about are just now starting to surface and Clearogen will help reduce inflammation and help heal your skin faster. It may take another week or two for you to start seeing positive results. Clearogen blocks DHT which is the culprit of acne so the production and surfacing of pimples should greatly decrease after your first month of using Clearogen.
If you feel that you are experiencing sensitivity and a negative reaction to Clearogen please give us a call so we can discuss if you need to discontinue use.
Good luck!
