Dear Doc,
My husband is 62 years old and he continues to get pimples on the end of his nose, which he in turns picks at, it bleeds, scabs, peels off and then another pimple or pimples appear. This has been going on for about a year. He is good about washing his face, has good hygiene in general and is in good shape otherwise. Any ideas why? and what can he do to try to prevent this?

Your husband may have Rosacea. It would be good for him to visit a dermatologist to diagnose first before initiating treatment.
