Stop Meds

I have been prone to getting large cysts but they would only come out once every so often. I have light skin and usually would get a pimple every now and then during my cycle. For the past couple of months my face has exploded with acne..small pimples, reddish rash and cysts. I have been under quite a bit of stress lately and that could be affecting my hormones but I need something to get this under control as I am 31 and feel the social anxieties of a teenager as I am embarrased. I have always had sensitive skin and only use Bare Escentuals for makeup as it is the only one that doesn’t irritate my skin. I am currently on Doxycycline and using SkinMedica Ance Treatment Foaming Wash but neither is helping. My face is quite itchy and that’s really how I know when another pimple is surfacing. Is Clearogen right for me and should I get off of the meds when I start using Clearogen? Please advise. Thanks!

From your description it appears that you are suffering from hormonal acne particularly since you have cystic lesions. The SkinMedica is most likely irritating your skin and therefore you may want to discontinue using that product. To control your acne it is advisable for you to initiate treatment with Clearogen.
