taking spironolactone
Name: Jennifer Alley
Question:
I was taking 100mg of spironolactone a day and my doctor recently lowered my dose to 50mg a day. One month after lowering my dose I have started to get a couple of painful cysts on my chin. I was wondering if using clearogen in combination with spironolactone would be a good option for my body to adjust to the lower dose of medication.
thanks,
Jen
Jen,
The fact that lowering Sprinolactone resulted in acne lesions is a great example of how hormones are the cause of acne. In your case Sprinolactone at 100 mg was blocking the hormones exceptionally and when you lowered your dosage the hormones rebounded and began doing what they do.
Clearogen uses natural ingredients to lower the production of these hormones within the oil glands so it acts similarly to Sprinolactone but only where you apply it. Clearogen would be a great option for you to prevent your acne with or without Sprinolactone.
