Acne Treatment - Clearogen

Accutane

Name: Ann
Question:

My daughter is 14 and experienced mild acne at age 9. Only her forehead was effected at first and that was cleared up with Differin. Now at age 14 she has acne along her jawline and the sides of her face. She did have acne on her chest and back, however that has cleared up since using the Clearogen after a month. Now at two months her back and chest are clear, but she still gets a breakout sometimes. Sugar seems to aggravate.

An important note is that she was born with an ovarian cyst that was surgically removed after her birth. I am wondering if this has created some hormonal problems for her. She has tried many topicals and the Clearogen has helped her chest and back but not her face as much.

She is tired of so many years of this and wants to try Accutane. Should she try oral antibiotics first? Are the side effects of Accutane serious?

Please advise. Thanks.

Dose your daughter have normal periods? Has she done a hormonal pannel?
You may ask her doctor to start her on Aldactone 50 mg twice daily while using Clearogen. This will give her the best control of her hormones related to her acne.
