Hi, never had acne/pimples until the birth of my daughter in 2000. Have tried many contraceptive alternatives and lotions and potions to clear it up but to no avail. Can you please tell me how Clearogen works with this hormonal/adult problem as opposed to teenage problems? Thanks Caitlin

The cause of acne is the same regardless of age and sex and it is hormones, specifically DHT. This hormone stimulates the oil glands causing them to over produce oil which cloggs the pores and leads to development of acne. At different ages and conditions such as during puberty, after pregnancy, and before and after menopause the levels of DHT rise significantly which can lead to acne.
Clearogen reduces DHT production within the skin and prevents remaining DHT from stimulating the oil gland to prevent acne formation. It also uses FDA approved acne medications to clear existing acne. It works the same regardless of age.
